In the 17 May 1932 issue of The Sailplane, another report of the activities of the Imperial College Gliding Club refers to a visit to the Worthing Gliding Club and spending a weekend, as well as holding an Easter camp, on its ground at Storrington. It describes a flight being "made in the excellent north valley". Does this help to identify where the Club's Storrington ground may have been located?

Worthing and District Gliding Club had a single B.A.C. II primary glider, built by C H Lowe-Wylde's British Aircraft Company at Maidstone. It was delivered personally by Lowe-Wylde and demonstrated by him at the club's ground at High Titton, seven miles north west of Worthing on 23.11.30. In 1932 the club was based at Kithurst Hill, Storrington.

The Worthing Club is listed as extant in September 1934, the given contact being N.T.Whiteman of 101 Rowlands Road, Worthing. However I've not traced any reports of its activities at this time.
