Probably the finest War Memorial I've come across on my travels! Sited at Hadlow Cemetery, I think the sculptor caught so much with this figure. Youth, determination, pride, pathos..

You are right about this one, John.  I'm not one for over-sentimental monuments but this strikes the right note.
