 Swimmer's Fine Performance - The annual long distance swimming race for the championship of the Medway and challenge cup presented by Lord Salisbury, ftnished at Rochester this morning. Frederick Record was the winner for the third year in succession, having swum 23 miles in 9hrs. 17min. Shedrick, of Kingston, gave up at 22 miles, having been in the water nine hours. Miss C. Parlett, of Kingston, covered 18 miles, and was in the water eight hours. Record will now attempt to swim the Channel
