James Arthur Kenward
Army Service Corps  - 535th Heavy Transport Company.
Service number T4/092693

Died on the 22nd October 1918.

Buried in Northiam Cemetery, Northiam, East Sussex - grave Reference: 385.

The "Roll of Honour - Sussex - Northiam" website shows that Driver Kenward was born in Wittersham East Sussex, which is a small village about 5 miles from Northiam, where he is buried.  The website also states that his next of kin were from Northiam.

Private T4/092693, 535th Heavy Transport Company, Royal Army Service Corps. Died at home 22nd October 1918. Born in Wittersham, Kent. Next of kin, Northiam. Buried in Northiam Cemetery, Ewhurst Road.

I cannot find reference to him, his death or funeral in the newspaper archives.

Driver James Arthur Kenward is commemorated on the Northiam War Memorial

Married Caroline Sargent ΒΌ June 1908 Rye.
Parents Richard & Ellen Maria.
