This three man nuclear bunker, part of the network of Royal Observer Corps posts covering the whole country, is situated at Eythorne near Dover. Very similar to the posts at Crete Rd and Swingate but in poor internal and external condition due to its exposed position and the attentions of vandals. The post is situated on a rise in the middle of a ploughed field and access is very easy, which explains the poor condition of the interior. It was operational from 1960 to 1968. The attached photographs were taken a few years ago, so I would assume that the place would have deteriorated even further by now  Cry
