I see  the Meridian Tonight research team have excelled themselves yet again in covering the unveiling of a memorial to Flying Officer Oswald Pigg http://www.cwgc.org/find-war-dead/casualty/2837999/PIGG,%20OSWALD%20St%20JOHN  at Pluckley, constantly  referring to him as Flight Officer and showing so called Battle of Britain film of B 17s and P-47s. Is it really that difficult to get it right?
