I'm assured that this picture was taken at a railway station in Kent on May 12th 1944 when Churchill, Eisenhower and Dominion heads were about to set off on a tour of the Coast Artillery sites. So... although there aren't many clues, I wonder if the station can be identified? As to the people in the picture, the rather scruffy Winston and the elegantly uniformed Eisenhower are instantly recognisable, as is the South African head of State, Smuts. Can anyone name the others? I think that's Mackenzie King, Canadian Prime Minister, on the left...

Def Mackenzie King on the left - 'The Beaver' was far more weasily looking!  Wink

The chap in the bowler is either John Curtin Aussie PM or Peter Frazer NZ PM - I think it's Frazer. They actually look very similar to each other!  Huh As for the chap talking to Smuts it may be Anthony Eden but I can't be sure
