Great news, it's going to be absolutely packed on the day and the new road system will grind to a halt, but I'm going to be there. Even if the Vulcan doesn't make it (I reckon the odds are 50/50) it will be the first local display in many, many years where you can get the static aircraft, unlike the old Folkestone and the current Eastbourne 'fly-by's'.

I am going to be there too.

A friend of mine has just moved into his new house at Manston so I will see if I can park there and walk.

If anyone has noticed, the online tickets are cheaper before the 1st March, then go up until 19th June and dearer on the gate.
A family ticket goes from £22 to £28 then £35 on the day. I know when I will be booking mine.

Hmm - the official Vulcan website shows nothing scheduled for June yet. The aircraft isn't ready for flying yet, so I'd take the 'confirmed' with a pinch of salt..

An RAF jet flew so fast and low over my house yesterday afternoon I thought the Show had already started!

Are there any up-dates on the line up for the show?

Staggerwing
 Kent spitfire
 Hurricane
 L4H Cub
 Steerman
 Turb team
 B17
 B25
 Super Decathlon
 Mustang P40 Kitty Hawk
 Vulcan

These are the confirmed aircraft according to the organiser.  He says that they are presently waiting for replies about which RAF and RN aircraft are coming.
Others are yet to be confirmed.

Worth the attendance fee just to see the Vulcan, but the B17, B25 and the gorgeous Mustang form the icing on the cake. I'm actually tempted to skip the show and try to get out on Dover Breakwater, or PoW Pier, in the hopes I will get better shots as various aircraft flyby or head for Capel Memorial..

I've got my ticket too. I just hope the 'Vulcan effect' doesn't stop me getting into the car park! The Typhoon is going to an airshow in Northern Ireland that weekend. The posters had already been printed!

Love early aircraft but I see that at the moment none will be there - Fokker DR1, SE5, I fly the scale models but never seen the real thing fly... But still if the Vulcan is there I can shiver in me boots with the noise from the engines when they open up the throttles...
Can remember it from long ago airshows.
As a bonus now as I am over 60 it costs a bit less so additional incentive to go.

Your luck is in, Peter - among the confirmed are..

Great War Planes (the BE2, the Sopwith and Fokker Triplanes, Nieuport 17, 2 SE5s and one Junkers CL1.)

And, for anyone living locally, the Vulcan should be arriving on Thursday, so you might get a sneak preview. No idea of ETA at the moment..
