I'm not really sure. I collected two images off the web years ago when researching pump types.
The other image I have seems to be at a museum, possibly Sandown.

For anyone watching this clip I would note that the person has identified this pump-station as at Northington.  I would note that there is no pump-station identified as Northington on the R/S pipeline or elsewhere either.  There was, however, a pump-station that was designated as Itchen Abbas which is 4 to 5 miles from Northington.  It was declared surplus to requirements and most of the land was sold to Hampshire County Council in 1975.  I visited it about 20 years ago and the GPSS (as was) still retain a small area of land through which the R/S pipeline runs with a valve box and a derelict building on it.  I think from memory that there also was a derelict building or 2 on the council site.  One of the items he showed was (I think) the valve box.  I would add, however, that the site was in a pretty bad state when I visited but, assuming that the two are the same, that it has got far worst since then.

Thanks for posting the link.

Thanks for the link Pluto.  That looks like the right place and I do remember that it was fun finding.  When I was there the part used by the council had aggregate on it.

The Surrey Mirror is our local newspaper and the latest edition includes a page and a half article based on information and photos that I sent them on the pipeline that runs from Walton to Dungeness through East Surrey.  I cannot post a link but this is a photo I took of the article.
