James H Crebbin born ¼ June 1920, Bromley district. Mother’s maiden name Cheshire.
His death not recorded with the General Register Office, which would suggest he died overseas.

The "RAF Commands - Unnaccounted Airmen" website  shows that Corporal James Crebbin died in Scotland.

The details that they have show :-

P/O (Pilot) William T. TAYLOR - 128105 - age 21, and
Cpl (Ag u/t) James H. ('Jim') CREBBIN - 974703 - age 22,
both killed on active service and death registered Dalcross, Invernes-shire.

and then they link their deaths to the crash of a Tiger Moth from No2 Air Gunnery School :

Tiger Moth II - N6798 - 2 AGS - dived int ground Croy, Inverness-shire
___________________________________________________________

Pilot Officer Taylor was cremated at Warriston Crematorium, Edinburgh and is commemorated on "Panel 4".

Thanks again to the "RAF Commands - Unnaccounted Airmen" website.

In 1939,  Margaret E Crebbin(born 1895) with son Anthony(born 1916) at the Robinson household at Baileys Farm Gen Rd, Tonbridge. There is a closed Crebbin entry which was probably son James Harry(born 1920)

Believe His father Albert V(born 1887)  at Lord household at 4 Marine Drive, Brighton. He was a Meat Salesman(wholesale). A note in margin(only partly readable) says “RAF Officers Huh”. was he supplying meat to officer’s mess?
Believe his Father Albert V died ¼ June 1943 Tonbridge District.
